Born in 1966 I had my first taste of garden construction at the age of 14 when I built a garden pond and I have been hooked on gardens ever since. When I left school I worked for a landscape gardener for 5 years after which I worked for civil engineers where I gained my knowledge of construction, groundwork, and drainage. In 2004 I studied with the Institute of Garden Design and achieved a Diploma with Merit.

In 2006 I set up MP Landscape & Garden Designs Ltd, working in and around the Pontefract and Wakefield area, which is a family run business incorporating my wife Lyn who is responsible for administration, book keeping, and advertising.

After 16 years experience in garden and landscape design, I've seen, over the years, an increase in popularity for outdoor kitchens and outdoor kitchen design. With this increase in demand for outdoor kitchen design and installation, I have now created a tailor made service for outdoor kitchens which I will run in conjunction with my full garden and landscape design service.

Based in Ackworth, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, I offer a full professional outdoor kitchen design, project monitoring, and construction service tailored to meet your needs and requirements.
